The son of the main characters has cerebral palsy, and there are scenes of him being addressed as such by bullies and antagonists. One more intense example is a group of boys mocking him in a store but (spoilers) the main bully gets his ass beat. Characters generally react negatively to the slurs use.

Yes, throughout a season a Down syndrome baby is born to a teen mom. He is referred to as the R-word, and the grandmother joins a group trying to “reclaim” the R-word and regularly uses it.

After Liam (toddler) is exposed to cocaine and overdoses, children in his brothers school taunt him that his little brother is a R-word now. Carl reguraly uses it in that episode trying to “figure out” if his brother “is a R-word” and takes a test for it online. This episode (S4 Ep7) even has the R-word in the title.

This word is also just in general regularly used throughout the show and there’s never any regency to it being wrong, besides the ~reclaiming the word~ episode

Too many instances to count but mostly in the episodes where the disabled boy Timmy is involved, he is referred to it directly as a slur.

The phrase used is “men are big fat r***rds” … it’s brief and easy to miss because the character is interrupted mid-sentence.

A few minutes from the end the last episode of season 3, when homelander is in a crowd of his supporters, a protestor is called a variation of the r slur. mute & turn off captions from 57:22-57:24 and you won't see/hear it. the dialogue isn't important so you won't miss anything. (SPOILERS)

if you wanna be extra safe and skip it, a protestor calls homelander a fascist and throws a can at his kid, so homelander lasers the guy's head off and everyone cheers.

Never by otherwise likable characters though. To avoid: don't tell your tie you don't want to drink. Don't tell Evrart you're ultraliberal. If (SPOILER) your companion is shot, the option to say it also has a chance to appear in a conversation with Cuno, the chance increasing the higher your Rhetoric is; the only definite way to avoid it appearing afaik is savescumming if Kim gets shot.

at around 15:30, bianca says to kat ‘can’t you just find some blind, dead, r*tard to take you to the movies so i can have one date?’ during an argument. if this is triggering to you i’d recommend stopping when kat walks up the stairs, and replaying when she starts talking again.
