Is a woman brutalized for spectacle?

Browse movies, tv shows, books and more where a woman is brutalized for spectacle.
Many women are victims of physical violence and abuse. Women in media are often made into narrative props that get used as targets for violence, for shock value. This may overlap with some cases of other categories, but encompasses the broader range of situations where women are made into hapless victims of brutal treatment, for shock. Being able to know, beforehand, whether a piece of media includes this trope would be greatly beneficial to many women.

Female characters die and are injured, but most of the scenes aren't particularly gendered and are plot-important. In terms of triggers, the most potentially upsetting instance occurs during the climax, which has DV themes contextually. That said, the character survives to the end and appears in one of the last scenes recovering in a hospital.

None of the TVA Agents that are brutalized are implied to be women. A woman with superpowers dies brutally but briefly.

A woman is put in a death trap (she survives) and is later seen with mild injuries. A other and daughter are taken hostage, they're crying and menaced with a gun. The film goes to great length to show how scared they are. However, the overwhelming majority of the violence is committed against men

Misogyny is a major theme of the game, as it's heavily implied that the one female crew member, Anya, is being sexually abused by the male villain protagonist, resulting in an unwanted pregnancy. While nothing graphic is shown onscreen, the specific details (her asking Curly why there are no locks in the sleeping quarters, her sleeping next to a statue that sets off audio when you approach after the crash, her being dehumanized by Jimmy through repeatedly being likened to a cartoon horse, etc.) are enough to be potentially triggering. Anya is also the first member of the crew to die via overdose. While the game is obviously condemning of Jimmy for his treatment of Anya, please proceed with caution if SA and/or misogyny is a trigger for you.

The birth scene is very brutal and graphic, I’d be remiss not to include it here

(SPOILERS)

Throughout the entire scene where Rory and Lydia end up in Beetlejuice's "office", Beetlejuice messes with Lydia in a way that could be considered brutalizing. He forces her mouth shut and manifests a "baby" version of himself into her stomach, which causes the latter to swell quickly until it bursts violently. Though that entire scene is played as a gag, it personally shook me up quite a bit, as Lydia is shown to be distraught by the whole ordeal.

I mean there’s no women anyway. Only men are brutalized here
