The science of living and the randomness of death are combined with a dash of Darwinism. Forensic experts, pathologists, toxicologists, herpetologists, and other experts offer eloquent explanations of mortality.
This tv show contains 1 potentially triggering events.
A dog is in one of the deaths, but he isn't the one to die. In fact, the death is more/less something you'd find in Looney Tunes as far as logic goes. Hunter throws a stick of dynamite, dog brings it back.
Not rape specifically (as far as penetration goes), but one woman is stated to have a condition that causes her to orgasm uncontrollably when feeling any type of non-sensual vibration. Her boyfriend makes things vibrate (electric toothbrush, setting her phone to vibrate) to set off these orgasms, much to her own chagrin.
A guy's pet snake is implied to have died via crawling through an air duct (Not like he would've known, as he was forcefully kicked out by his girlfriend)
Tentative no. One death involves an infantilist's (someone who engages in age play to um...get tyeir kicks) neck breaking due to adult drop side cribs still being legal, but the infantilist himself and his girlfriend are both consenting adults. But I imagine the whole scene could be uncomfy for anyone who engages in age regression as a coping mechanism.
No. As mentioned in the BDSM trigger, a virgin dies as a result of a latex allergy, but it's mentioned that if the virgin had been able to say anything (i.e, a safe word), the dominatrix would've stopped immediately.
No, but one guy is shown on the toilet, and puts out a cigarette by dropping it in the toilet. Unfortunately, his maid had just cleaned with bleach (iirc) and forgot to flush. Kaboom.
A virgin tries roleplay sex in a brothel for the first time and goes straight to BDSM. It's not shock or injuries that kill him, but rather a fatal latex allergy that he couldn't say anything about because A, he was going into anaphylaxis, and B, he was bound and gagged.
Discussed when two uber-religious parents think their daughter (who is goth) is possesed by the devil, but I don't think anything is shown on screen beyond the attempted (and failed) exorcism.
Arguably. The intro states in every episode that death is inevitable. You can skip the intro of you don't wanna hear about it, but I can't recall any actual existentialism debates off the top of my head.
One death has a Rabbi burned alive, another involves a mormon wedding. The one that immediately came to mind for me was one where a Christian guy is trying to convince people at a college party to join his bible study group (or something similar). He then gets killed by a fucking meteor.
In "Mile Die Club" an abusive husband freezes to death in an airplane's cargo bay. "Signed Out" has a husband repeatedly injures himself to frame the wife for domestic violence. In "Orspasm" a boyfriend deliberately triggers her girlfriends PGAD for his own amusement.
In “Boris Bititoff” a solider during the Chernobyl disaster rapes a racoon he finds. The racoon then bites his genitals off. Him actually having sex with the animal is not shown. Just shot from behind or only showing his head. (So obviously they just had him do movements with racoon sound effects in the background)
One death (I forgot which one) has a guy trying to survive in the rainforest himself, only to be woken up by a tarantula. (The tarantula isn't what kills him, though.)
"Pretty Fly For a Dead Guy" has a person eaten alive by bugs over the course of days after accidentally sticking himself to his own giant fly paper. "Me So Hornet," involves a man being stung to death by Asian Giant Hornets. Other deaths involve hornets, kissing bugs, spiders, etc.
"Face-Offed" has someone contract necrotizing fasciitis after shaving her legs with a rusty razor. "Bush Defeated" also involves shaving and necrotizing fasciitis.
One death in particular has a guy drink gasoline, thinking it'll have the same effects as alcohol. It does not, and he throws up into a campfire. You can guess what happens from there.
"Boris Bititoff" has a raccoon biting the member off of a zoophile soldier. "Catch and Decease" involves a candiru fish crawling up a man's urethra and him ripping it out. Other examples include "Tree Mugger," "Die-brator," and "Killdo" among others.
Deaths shown in the modern day can be considered as torture. Though not inflicted on another.
Some deaths take place in history. One episode has the creator of the Brazen Bull burned alive in it. (And might I add is historically inaccurate, he survived it then was thrown off a cliff). Another one has somebody die by the Guillotine for somebody who wants to test out if the victum is still alive after their head is cut off. He was not forced, he was a volunteer.
The death that happens in Bad Max actually happened to a six year old girl in real life. The narrator even mentions this by saying that death sometimes comes for those who don't deserve it, but the child herself is not shown on screen.
"Dead-dy Dearest" has an overprotective dad accidentally killing himself with a blank in front of his daughter and her boyfriend. Other examples include "Smother-in-law" and a deadbeat dad in "Chairway to Heaven."
Kill Bill and Billie features a couple. Bill accuses Billie of being a prostitute, but Bill himself hires 3-4 prostitutes a week. They both get killed by a hitman when they come across each other due to these circumstances.
In “Pretty Fly For A Dead Guy” after accidentally pinning himself to a wall, in 2 days he loses control of his organs, which in turn has him soil himself to which he exclaims “I peed myself, I gotta get out.” He dies in one week.
TW for Rape as weel. One death has a boxer who crossdresses to calm himself down after training. A serial rapist mistakes him for a woman and calls him a "lady" which is a trigger word for the boxer. The boxer punches the rapist in the skull, killing him.
"Lesbosuction," "Lesboned," "Deadliest Munch," and "Die-brator" all contain deaths of lesbians in various fashions. The man in "Brain Worms" admits to being gay before dying for comedic value.
A drunk insurance salesman crashes an "inner beauty pageant" and gets crushed by three plus-size models. A sexist fitness instructor repeatedly hazes and insults a plus-size student to get her to leave.
Almost every single episode has somebody dying in the most brutal way possible. I can only think of 2 that don’t have any gore. The one where two people eat a slug, and the other where an old man’s machine causes a power outage, causing him to suffocate.
