Technically the dog probably dies but you don’t see it. You see two abandoned dogs, people take one of those dogs, then they later abandon that dog by the road. It is assumed they both died.

sexual assault is a huge theme in this movie: a girl is raped by her boyfriend after having an abortion and clearly telling him no, a man has his face forcefully shoved into a woman’s crotch, he grabs her back on the crotch the next day, he also forcefully dry humps her pretending he is a dog who humped her earlier in the film, and the woman spends most of the film traumatized from the dog and the men
