In 1959, an alien experiment crashes to earth and infects a fraternity member. They freeze the body, but in the modern day, two geeks pledging a fraternity accidentally thaw the corpse, which proceeds to infect the campus with parasites that transform their hosts into killer zombies.

a few times an exploded head is shown, so i’d say yes because it’s gross looking. otherwise it’s not bad, it’s probably excessive by 80s standards though
Yes- late in the film, a major character is disturbed in the midst of a suicide attempt. It isn't obvious at first and is not discussed further. The attempt does not succeed.
Debatable. At one point the main detective character confesses to killing someone and covering it up. It's not glorified and the other person refers to it as a murder.
In another scene, cops use excessive force against zombies.
people think cynthia is crazy for saying she saw a zombie, and a couple people tell her that. it’s not purposeful gaslighting because they don’t know she’s telling the truth.
If it became a zombie, it died. End of story - you can pretend otherwise, but you know it did. Anybody marking this film as anything but, is doing the rest of us a disservice. To become undead you have to die first.
nobody is buried alive, but somebody who was buried comes back to life, and has to dig and chop their way out of their grave, since a house was built on top of it. so that might be upsetting
no, but a couple times a single slug will shoot out of a zombie’s mouth and/or into another person’s mouth. i jumped the first time this happened, but the movie is safe.
