Agent Twilight, the greatest spy for the nation of Westalis, has to infiltrate an elite private school. In order to do so, he assumes the identity of psychiatrist Loid Forger, adopts an orphan girl, and marries a city hall employee. Unknown to him, his daughter Anya is a telepath and his wife Yor is an assassin. The three learn to become a family while working to complete Twilight's missions and maintain world peace.
This movie contains 27 potentially triggering events.
Episode 2, around 9:15, the characters visit a tailor shop. Various clothed mannequins are shown, they stop at the neck and have no heads. Also in the first scenes of episode 6.
One of the mc's as a spy is shown following his child and wife without their knowledge, but it's considered a part of his job and isn't portrayed as negative or hostile.
Performance-enhancing drugs in episode 22, shown in a distance as the characters use syringes to take them. Their bodies get a massive muscular growth due to them.
In the second opening, there's a brief scene of a child character burying his dead goldfish. It's a short and skippable scene, but it appears in almost every episode from episodes 13 to 25.
In episode 11 there's a scene in an animal shelter where dogs are kept in very poor conditions, and the humans responsible seem to hate the dogs. Also in episode 12 you could say that a penguin was abused by being forced to swallow a microfilm.
In episode 12, the characters visit an aquarium. Anya shouts in excitement when she sees a tiny shark, but the shark is very far in the background and barely noticeable. Nothing too detailed.
Near the end of episode 4, a character kills a mosquito by punching it against a table. Blood is shown, but it's more from the character hurting his hand from the strike. A mention of the incident happens near the beginning of the next episode, showing the dead mosquito and comical blood splatters around it.
There are some brief scenes where Becky exclaims about her crush on Loid, and she has some fantasy cutaway scenes where he reciprocates that can be uncomfortable, but they're all in her imagination.
During the first episode a young girl (reportedly 6 years old) is kidnapped and is seen with her arms tied to her sides with rope and tape over her mouth
There are two instances of an mc being kidnapped/held hostage by bad guys, but none last more than a few minutes and said mc is quickly saved or manages to escape.
On Ep. 16 Yuri vomits a few times while eating Yor's food, I only noticed ot after another character mentions it and is not very triggering. After the end of Ep. 17, there is an extra scene with Yuri as a child eating Yor's food again, this one lasts longer and is far more triggering, I suggest skipping it as it does not add anything to the story.
Could probably count, a spy in disguise makes up a story about a spy who was captured and committed suicide after being tortured. There's no confirmation it happened, but the person hearing this story believes it, showing that it's a plausible scenario.
A spy puts a listening device on someone and listens in on their conversations. It's done to ensure they're not an enemy, not as a stalkerish behaviour.
Misogynistic remarks are made about a woman's abilities to cook and clean, but these are challenged and disapproved of by other characters. A character makes classist remarks about not fraternizing with poor people.
In the very first scene of the very first episode, with the characters in the car dying. Also in episode 2 a scene cuts off right as two cars crash, but the characters are shown to be safe.
Noone dies but there is a graphic description of a child almost drowning while surrounded by people who did not notice. Anya saves him, but if youre sensitive skip from 8:20-12:15 in episode 11
Guns are often used in the spy/assassin work, but none in the domestic scenes. There is one episode in season 2 where a character has to hide the fact that they were shot (not too bad, just a lot of discomfort), but it is played as comedic and they end up feeling better.
