Hmmm... I can't answer that properly without spoiling the movie, so: SPOILER ----- SPOILER ----- SPOILER ----- SPOILER ----- SPOILER. Technically, no one is burned alive, BUT the long dead (mummy-like) body of a girl is thrown into an incinerator, which causes her ghost (which is physically present and tangible) horrible pain and "kills" it.

At one point, when someone's hand is being twisted around violently, the subtitles said something like "[bones cracking]", but neither my co-watcher not me noticed the sound, and nothing more is made of it. ... Other than that, there's a hanging, which implies a broken neck.
