A young man struggles to access sublimated childhood memories. He finds a technique that allows him to travel back into the past, to occupy his childhood body and change history. However, he soon finds that every change he makes has unexpected consequences.

A very messed up kid sets a canvas bag on fire that has a struggling dog in it. The dog dies and the scene is super traumatic, and at the end of it you see the partially burned bag and a tiny flash of the charred remains. There’s flashbacks to it throughout the movie.

a slur is said by the protagonist when trying to "befriend" a nazi. a swastika is briefly shown twice but connected to this nazi character, who is depicted as evil.
