Jack's lavish, fast-paced lifestyle changes one Christmas night when he stumbles into a grocery store holdup and disarms the gunman. The next morning he wakes up in bed lying next to Kate, his college sweetheart he left in order to pursue his career, and to the horrifying discovery that his former life no longer exists. As he stumbles through this alternate suburban universe, Jack finds himself at a crossroad where he must choose between his high-power career and the woman he loves.
A black man is very briefly treated poorly by another character and the implication is that it's due to his skin color but nothing is overtly spoken about it.
It's just a tiny bit of gas, and from an infant. There's also some (pretty clearly fake) feces shown in a diaper, and the baby is shown urinating. (The stream is shown a couple of times, and then at one point the urine is briefly shown actually coming out of his penis.)
This movie is SAFE, but here are 2 moments that made me nervous:
1. At 23:41 – After Jack gets in the car and exclaims, “What’s happening to me!?”, the “angel” hands him a brown paper bag and tells him to breathe into it. Jack does so, and the angel mentions that some guys v**** during this time, advising him to use the window if he needs to. However, Jack does NOT get sick; he simply continues gasping and breathing into the bag to calm himself down.
2. At 36:54-37:00 – During the holiday party, Jack is pressured into eating an hors d’oeuvre. He gags with the food in his mouth, but again, does not get sick.
