A woman is painfully restrained by the wrists and ankles nearly the entire movie. She is humiliated, sexually assaulted (in some instances violently), beaten and tortured.
The father of the family is physically abusive toward both his wife and eldest daughter on multiple occasions, the later of which it is implied he may be abusing sexually as well.
Children witness and are forced to get involved in things they absolutely shouldn't (including torture and their mum being beaten), and it's very heavily implied that a teen has been raped at least once.
Not in the sense of dog on dog, per se, but the dogs have been trained to be vicious and attack people and even eat them. And a person has been trained to act like a dog and join in on this.
“The woman” is raped and sexually assaulted by the father and son. The son is caught and his mother calls him a “rapist son” to the father, who dismisses it as “boys will be boys”.
In addition, one of the daughters is suspected to be pregnant and the father accuses the teacher of accusing her brother and/or him of impregnating her. I don’t think this was ever clarified, but I wouldn’t even be surprised if this turned out to be true.
“The woman” is raped by the father, which is shown. And also, she is attacked by the son. The son is shown torturing her with some pliers, producing blood, and then when his sister catches him and chases him off, it’s revealed that some of the blood is coming from one of her nipples. When the mother confronts the father about this, she says that the son had stripped her and was touching her with one hand and touching himself with the other hand. She doesn’t mention the pliers or blood for some reason and the son doesn’t deny it.
Honestly, the boy is awful and deserved it. More of a teenager and only really shown being a pervert and hurting multiple girls and grown women. Nothing innocent about him. Even his own mother considered him beyond saving. He would’ve no doubt grown up to be just like his father.
