Tropic Thunder
Movie • 2008 • Action
ReportVietnam veteran 'Four Leaf' Tayback's memoir, Tropic Thunder, is being made into a film, but Director Damien Cockburn can’t control the cast of prima donnas. Behind schedule and over budget, Cockburn is ordered by a studio executive to get filming back on track, or risk its cancellation. On Tayback's advice, Cockburn drops the actors into the middle of the jungle to film the remaining scenes but, unbeknownst to the actors and production, the group have been dropped in the middle of the Golden Triangle, the home of heroin-producing gangs.

I wouldn't say "stalked." A group of people watch another group for a bit, gathering info and planning a way to attack. they don't follow them around really.

Panda is stabbed many times until dead, then the carcass is worn by the character. Another character eats a screaming live bat. Meant for humor in context, but the noises the animals make can be disturbing to hear.

In one of the fake previews before the movie, there is a parody of the famous dinner table scene from Nutty Professor II: The Klumps.

It’s possible but not clear what the disability in Simple Jack is (even though yeah it’s very much taking the piss out of the inspirational disabled trope) and what some people forget is that there are consequences in the narrative since it’s regarded as a critical and financial failure, and even in-universe is considered horribly offensive hence why the only people that remember the movie are the drug gang

A actor is such a character actor that he goes through some kind of operation or something to make him black (in reality he's just in black face.) Because of the changes he puts himself through for his role, he has difficulty identifying who he really is.
I don't know that I'd call this body dysmorphia.

Everything about "Simple Jack" is offensive. (This is a movie Stiller's character starred in in which the character, Jack, may be autistic.)

RDJ’s character for a vast majority of the movie, since essentially his character is a method actor that was so desperate for the part of a black man that he went through cosmetic surgery to have his skin darkened. It’s essentially elaborate satire of the absurd lengths Hollywood is often willing to go to to deny roles to minority actors done in a ermm *tsk* “ballsy way”
