A character is force by law enforcement to wear a wire. One of the characters he is recording pulls a gun and threatens him. He cries and the cops who are listening laugh and call him derogatory names.
There are cops, but I'd say that the way they are depicted is probably far more true to real life fucking people over than copaganda ever gets- though there might be some people who think that these characters seem cool in the hypermasculine way that they operate.
The main female lead gets her face beaten up really bad though not by someone in her close circle. This is very triggering if you've been a victim of domestic violence or of violence against women. There should be a "violence against women" category added to this site.
Hands and feet, but not fingers and toes. In a torture scene, a man's palm is cut with a knife and alcohol is then poured over it. In another scene, someone is stabbed in the foot with a corkscrew.
There's a scene where someone has a lot of blood on and around their eye, but it turns out they've just been wounded near the eye and they're OK. It may still be upsetting because it looks like they were shot in the eye.
They ride the roller coaster and Elliot looks like he feels ill. Next scene is a couple minutes later and he has vomit on his clothes. A minute later he vomits again, but he lowers his head to the bottom of the screen so you don't see it directly.
No misgendering but the main character does make a casually transphobic comment, telling his girlfriend he's surprised she didn't turn out to be trans because she seemed too good to be true.
A long speech in which a white guy uses the n-word several times to insult some Italian mobsters, basically saying that Italians have black heritage in an extremely insulting way. There is one other scene where the n-word is used by a white person; also some casually hateful remarks toward gay men, trans people, and sex workers.
There's a weird scene where Alabama has just met her new husband's father and she kisses him sensually on the mouth and calls him "daddy". While it's not actually incestuous, as they're not related, it could be triggering for some.
The purple Cadillac squeals it tires as it pulls into traffic a few times. On other occasions, other cars tire squeal as they are forced to hit the brakes.
