Jane manipulates/abuses Blanche throughout most of the film, but it is revealed at the end that most of their adult relationship was built on Blanche gaslighting Jane.

Implied neglect and a line that could be considered verbal. This is briefly in the opening scenes.

Baby Jane says Blanche’s pet bird escaped when she was cleaning the cage. A few scenes later, immediately after the scene where Blanche pressed the intercom buzzer incessantly, about 50 minutes in, Baby Jane delivers lunch to Blanche with a smirk. Blanche opens the lunch tray and sees her pet bird has been killed and cooked. It’s very sad, especially because we’ve seen how much Blanche cared about her bird.

Yes, dead rat is served to Blanche.
Jane says,“You know we’ve got rats in the cellar?” Jane leaves the room but hovers in the hallway, listening. Blanche opens the lunch tray and sees Jane has served her a dead rat for lunch and screams and slams the tray closed.

While not a clown, there is a clown-faced jack in the box in the very first shot of the film.

I think the cops would be considered good guys in this, but so would anyone outside of the home. They do not hold a heavy presence in the film.

No tight spaces or getting stuck, but the movie does deal with the feeling of being trapped (in a wheelchair in one room only).

One of the characters is large, and often when on screen is shown eating a lot and quickly, whatever is in front of him. I'm not sure if the intention is comedic but it felt worth noting.

The only person who explicitly dies as part of the plot (vs referenced earlier death or semi-implied death) is a black woman.
