Columbus has made a habit of running from what scares him. Tallahassee doesn't have fears. If he did, he'd kick their ever-living ass. In a world overrun by zombies, these two are perfectly evolved survivors. But now, they're about to stare down the most terrifying prospect of all: each other.
This movie contains 46 potentially triggering events.
Might not count as gaslighting, but two female characters trick Talahassee and Columbus into giving them their gun, then robs them at gunpoint for the rest of their things.
In a particularly harrowing scene, Columbus uses a plastic shower curtain to put over his neighbor's rapidly-zombifying mouth so as to avoid being bit.
there's a scene (about 15 minutes in if i remember correctly) where the guy gets a flashback and closes a door on a zombie, and her ankle bone comes out of her body
One jumpscare of a clown climbing under a bathroom stall (imagined). Another of a woman the main character was just looking after popping out at him to attack him. After he hits her over the head and closes her in the bathroom, there’s another jumpscare of her hand reaching for the doorknob.
One of the first conversations Tallahassee and Columbus have is interrupted when their vehicle passes by a zombie woman ripping into a guy in ths middle of the road.
If you count the scene where the main characters trash up an abandoned gift shop to ‘blow off steam’ and when Tallahassee later uses a late character’s vase set for target practice
There is one instance and it's at the very beginning of the movie. It's a vlog like event documenting turnt over cars at the White House. The camera man gets eaten.
Several times, always for comedic purposes. One of the main character's rules for surviving the zombies, such as double-tap and cardio, will appear on screen when he mentions them. There's also a scene where a character claims he got "zombie kill of the week." The narrator cuts in to show the actual zombie kill of the week belongs to a little old lady.
A young woman in a tight skirt bends and kneels down “looking” for something. The man working at the store that spots her looks at her butt for a while and seems quite intent to help her.
A zombie stripper is shown during the intro wearing small nipple covers. She runs in slow-motion, as she chases a man. The slow-motion shows them bouncing around.
In the opening sequence, a car abruptly stops in front of zombified children and the woman behind the wheel is sent flying through the windshield. There's a lot of blood and she dies.
I think there are other scenes where cars are driven through buildings and other objects but no living person is injured. There are also a lot of abandoned cars throughout the movie and though I'm not sure on this, there may possibly be some implied crashes.
