This movie contains 63 potentially triggering events.
A Deer is hit by a car, quite dramatic a dragged out scene, animals screams can be heard. (in the first 20 ish minutes of the film) A cow also has its stomach cut open and killed in the next scene.(skipped this so im not sure how long it goes for however it is roughly an hour and 10 minutes-15 minutes into the film)
It's hard to say if this movie would be classified as addiction or not, but it's better to be safe than sorry. The characters in this movie are in an institution where they are dependant on a treatment.
Dead animals are seen mounted on the wall at various points in the film. A goldfish is seen on one of the first scenes, and later we see it floating at the top of its tank, dead. A character takes it out of the bowl and drops it in a garbage bin. (Graphic!) Later when leaving in a cab, a deer runs out of the trees and is hit by a car. Its antler goes through the windshield and it is stuck on the car as it crashes. We hear it screaming and and see its face. Later, after the crash, the deer staggers onto the road, injured. Its legs are tangled in a wire and it limps and trips into the middle of the road. It collapses and appears to die. In another scene, character imagines it alive and uninjured, walking across a doorway. In a later scene, a character is eating venison and mentions that they “couldn’t let it go to waste”. Later, after drinking a glass of water, a character noticed a worm/insect thing in the glass and takes it out with their finger. They squish it and smear it between their fingers. Later, there is a banquet, and a whole fish, a sturgeon, is served on a platter, and characters are eating venison. Later, more worm/insects are seen dead, floating in a sample jar. Later, in a farmhouse, a cow is seen strapped to a table, and hens and geese are running around and in cages. The cow is seen in the background for a while, before a man says he ”has to put the poor animal out of its misery”. He says he found it in a drainage ditch, drinking sewer water, with a broken leg. He stabs it, it groans, and he pulls the knife out, disemboweling it. Its organs fall out, along with several eels, and a cow fetus. The cow and fetus are dead, and the eels are seen squirming on the floor. Something is seen wiggling beneath the fetus’ skin. Later in a laboratory, eels and other specimen are seen having been cut open and displayed in jars. In another scene, a character... ingests eels. We don’t see them harmed or injured, but it probably doesn’t end well?

While technically not snakes, there are lots of eels shown throughout the movie, including scenes where the main character is surrounded by them in the water amongst other worse scenes
Graphic and onscreen attempted rape of a girl of ambiguous age who's been treated like a child throughout the film, and discussions of the incestuous rape of a different child throughout.
A man is shown preparing to rape a young girl who is restrained on a bed. The man is stopped before penetrating her, but is shown lying on top of her and taunting her
Quite Gore-filled, the main character pulls one of his own teeth out. In another scene, a hole is drilled through his front tooth while he is retrained.
In a show of force a character is strapped to a chair, has their mouth forcibly held open and we see a pretty long shot of someone drilling a hole in their front tooth as it slowly detaches
The main character cuts his own leg cast off with broken glass, blood shows. Technically, it's self harm and may triggering because of the blood and the action of cutting (anything).
I would argue *kind of*— while it isn’t related to her being autistic and it isn’t ever confirmed, the way Hannah is infantilized and treated childishly did make my autistic fiancé a little squicked.
It is implied the main characters father has killed himself, and in a dream sequence the main character kills himself the same way/is in the fathers place.
Not actually a shakey cam, but in some scenes, water reflection is filmed which might be uncomfortable for some people since it's similar to a shakey cam
Nudity throughout, male and female. Mostly non-sexual (e.g. people walking around the saunas naked, or floating in water) but there are a few scenes of female frontal nudity that are sexual in nature.
( Spoiler Alert and CW for rape)
the man in charge of the place raped his sister repeatedly (only described, not shown); only one of the resulting pregnancies lasted long enough for the child to survive, and after his daughter grew up he tried to rape her, too (this WAS shown on camera).
A cow also has its stomach cut open and killed in the next scene.(skipped this so im not sure how long it goes for however it is roughly an hour and 10 minutes-15 minutes into the film)
