The shepherd dog attacks a man after chasing him across the field. The man throws the dog off him, over the line. The dog makes sounds of pain as it dies in a weird way. Happens at about 23 min in to the 2nd episode. Does look pretty fake at point of death but sad sounds are real sounding.

You see a dead crow, deer, raccoon, and fox from 26:55-27:11 and again at 27:27. There’s also a squirrel at 27:48 and you continue to see various shots of the dead wildlife in the background until 28:24. Spoiler ahead in case you prefer to skip this scene: the thing possessing Arlo killed these animals, and in the process some rainbow, mystical poisonous goo formed, and the possessing entity said that they need to drink the poison.
