yes, the women who are captured were all stalked, and the woman played by ashley judd is stalked in more detail. around 1hr 40min the stalker returns to her home and describes in vague terms how he’s been tracking her. could be dificult to watch
Kind of. The whole premise of the movie is about a killer who calls himself “Casanova” and the women have to follow his rules or else. Nothing too excessive in what’s shown. But thematically…yeah.
There is no one that is assaulted on screen. But there is talk of r*pe. The kidnapper is also a r*pist so it is mentioned. There is never an actual scene of assault. However, at the ending there is attempted assault but it is not very long and the attacker is pushed off.
No one self-harms but there is a scene where someone gets cut on their upper arm and you can see the gash and blood. It is at the very end and it is not very graphic. As someone who has dealt with self-harm it was not bothersome to me but I can see how someone who is easily triggered by cuts would want to be forewarned.
In the begining of the movie, when Morgan Freeman enters the room, a women has a gun in her mouth as if she wanted to shoot herself. She then moves it to her temple and keeps it there for the whole scene.
She doesn't shoot herself, but the scene can be very triggering for some. The scene only serves to introduce the character of Morgan Freeman as someone who talks down people in distress. You can skip.
