Duff Daniels (John T. Woods), the younger, stupider brother of Les (Michael Shanks), can't help himself from stealing a rare snake that's been kept in a jar by a Native American snake dealer (Ben Cardinal), and which has to follow some rules: don't let it out of the jar, then don't let it eat anything anything living, and never fear the heart of the snake.
This movie contains 2 potentially triggering events.
The snake kills and eats a kitten. The majority is obscured by a box the snake is inside of, but a spurt of blood can be seen.
Later, a dog is also eaten. Again, it is mostly obscured, this time by a tire. However the dog's hindquarters can be seen struggling, accompanied by the pup's whimpers.
Early in the film, when the snake is still rather small, a character crushes its head, but this is soon revealed to be non-fatal.
A coop full of chickens is eaten. It's not shown directly but the inside of the coop is shown afterwards covered in blood and with one live but bloodied chicken still left.
