During Philip’s training, he is required to sleep with many different people and it was a traumatic experience for him.
While it wasn’t assault, in season 2 episode 6, Elizabeth asks Philip to have rough sex with her, which triggers both of them and causes her to cry. He stops when she asks him too but it brought up bad memories for both of them.
