During a college sorority pledge a young woman is lightly spanked on the b*m with a wooden paddle as punishment for speaking out of turn. It appears to cause discomfort, but she allows it to happen and it's not meant to be sexual.

A boy gets into a fight with another child off screen and we later see their bruised face, but that's it.

One of the main characters cheats on her fiancé by secretly dating the other two main characters. It's an open secret and even he knows but doesn't at any point agree to it.

About an hour and a half into the movie a character is hospitalized for an unknown ailment. He falls down and is then seen in a hospital being strapped down to a hospital bed and wheeled down a corridor. There are a few subsequent scenes in the hospital, but nothing "hospital-ish" occurs, just conversation between characters in plainclothes

At the end credits it's mentioned that the throuple, the movie is based on, has died by now. Two of the people in the throuple are wlw. Also depending on whether you count being poly as LGBT+, the male part of the relationship would also be a dead LGBT+ person. While we don't see him die in the movie either other than in the end credits, we see him getting sick and having to live in a hospital.

When people find out about the main character's polyamorous relationship there are people who voice their disagreement/disgust.

There are explicit sex scenes, usually with various states of undress from the characters involved.
