Young sweethearts Billy and Kate move to the Big Apple, land jobs in a high-tech office park and soon reunite with the friendly and lovable Gizmo. But a series of accidents creates a whole new generation of Gremlins. The situation worsens when the devilish green creatures invade a top-secret laboratory and develop genetically altered powers, making them even harder to destroy!
This movie contains 20 potentially triggering events.
Marla gets caught in Spider Mohawk's web and he is seen approaching from behind. Thankfully, Gizmo shoots him with a flaming arrow, completely igniting and burning him to death.
Animals are kept in a lab for cruel experimentation. We see a monkey and a large spider in cages; I'm not sure what other animals we see in there (I wasn't paying too much attention to the movie), but when everything turns to chaos, several other kinds of animals run around - I remember a baby elephant, a camel, and possibly a deer.
Gizmo is tortured by the gremlins, most severely so with light. Also, a man is restrained in a dentist's chair and about to be tortured with a dentist's drill, but someone intervenes.
No, but for part of the movie, a woman thinks her husband-to-be is cheating on her. What's really going on is that his female superior is trying to seduce him, and he has to be polite, so he agrees to have dinner with her. His fiancée gets the wrong idea because she sees them leaving together and later sees a lipstick print on his face from when the superior kissed him across the corner of his mouth without his consent.
There's some indication that mr. Futterman does (from the events in the first movie), at least to some extent, but he somehow gets better out of necessity when the shit hits the fan.
