There are references to shaving and an assumption that a character is shaving at one point.

Though they transport themselves there willingly, a character is held against his will in a room for a large part of the film.

Not for police, but there is a lot of anti-communist propaganda depicted in this film.

Though no attacks, several characters experience a large amount of anxiety for some of the film.

Self-inflicted gunshot off-screen. The body is never shown, other characters see and react to the body.

There are several shots of the inside of a very small plane interior with several people. A person is kept inside a (spacious) room against their will for some time.

There is a discussion of eugenic policy near the end of the film that suggests filtering the population for physical attributes. This is not shown in a positive light.

One of the characters, Dr. Strangelove, is an ex-Nazi working for the U.S government. He accidentally refers to the president as "mein Führer", a title associated with Adolf Hitler, and he accidentally does the Nazi salute multiple times. It's implied he does not have control over that hand. Other than that, nothing else antisemetic is said and Dr. Strangelove is not shown in a positive light. Towards the end in response to the prospect of nuclear doomsday, Dr. Strangelove proposes to the president that they take several hundred thousand people deep underground to wait out the fallout for 93 years. He suggests that they selectively choose who to take underground. Because Dr. Stranglove is a former Nazi it can be assumed that his Nazism informs who he thinks should be taken to the mine shelters.

Some planes are described as being shot down, however there is nothing on-screen. There are several scenes of a plane being damaged mid-flight.

At one moment, you see a body with a trail of blood leading away from it on the ground. It is at a distance.

Two groups in the army fight and there is lots of shooting. One of the characters uses a machine gun. It is not very graphic.
