Season 5, episode 16 near the end of the episode. Mike’s dog is revealed to have cancer and we see him cradling the dog at the very end of the episode, crying. One can infer from the context of the scene that that the dog has passed away since the last time we saw him. Very emotional since you spend the entire series up to this point looking forward to his scenes.
