This happens most often with Ash, since he is constantly at risk of being captured and people are constantly searching for him. One instance I can think of is with Blanca. Ash feels like he is being watched and you can see Blanca following him a couple times

In the second and/or third episode, there are images of an underage child being assaulted, and heavy talk of sexual assault throughout the show. There is also another assault scene in the prision, this list is incomplete; i had to stop watching

It's not shown on-screen, but a character's fingers are cut off during a knife-fight. There are several close-ups of the character's hand and their scars from the fingers being reattached.

At the last episode a character falls into fire after killing another character, I’m not sure if it would qualify as “burning alive” though. It isn’t really graphic or violent

A child is shot and killed in the second episode. Also, i believe that at some point a character mentions that their childhood crush passed away. This is never shown on screen and only mentioned once.

technically not but if mind control in general is a trigger for you, i'd still be cautious. a character is made to do violent things against their will with drugs and it's very brutal

If anything, Banana Fish is vehemently anti-police, making a point out of them doing nothing to help Ash when he was a kid

Ash fights with Arthur on the train tracks, and after Ash is injured he goes to a hospital.
*minor spoilers*
Eiji later gets shot while trying to teach Ash Japanese and he ends up going to the hospital as well. I believe you don’t actually see him in the hospital until at least the next episode after that though.

No, however there is a scene where a scalpel is used on a body to create a long, straight slice that blood then pools out of. The visual comparison is easy to make and thus the scene becomes uncomfortable, though it is brief. (ep 15)

A character is assumed to be a woman by appearance, how ever there's no issues, drama, or shock value driven from it, only a pronoun swap after being told otherwise.

Though not his real father, it is heavily implied that Ash’s adopted father sexual assaults him. This is more fleshed out in the manga.

The sexual objectfication of one of the main characters is a major theme and plot point.
Other, mostly young male, characters are objectified as well.

I was spoiled by the previous comment. (There really should be an option to tag spoilers appropriately, like on Reddit or Discord...) Nonetheless, I still watched the entire show and I'm SO glad I did, the anime is a masterpiece.
[SPOILERS]
The ending itself isn't sad, it's an open ending. Even though he does die at the end of the manga, Ash is actually alive in the anime. There's an official character chart by mappa (the animation studio) that depicts each character with a status (alive/deceased) and their relationships to other characters. Ash's picture was grayed out first, which set his status to "deceased". However! The character chart was updated, and now his picture is in color again, meaning he's alive.
