This movie contains 19 potentially triggering events.
Never shown, but the children who were once living in a crackhouse with their mother may have been abused. A child hides on the underbelly of a shopping cart, exclaiming “Please don't hit me!†Although this is used for comedic effect, the person the child is saying it too never really beat him
A woman throws a man on the ground and stomps on his groin, he wails in pain and rolls on the ground uncontrollably. About 15 seconds later, she stomps again, he yelps, and the scene cuts to him being held up as he walks away.
Juan is seen with his head in a trash can while at Six Flags, just after Lizzy leaves with her friends. There is no audio to it and you don’t see it, just his head in the can and Sandy saying he’s “upchucking”.
there is a close up of a needle when Juan goes into hospital. best to keep your eyes closed as soon as the Lizzie shouts "Juan drop it" and then only open when you hear Juan shouting "stop stop"
After getting a nail stuck in his foot via a nail gun, a child is taken to the hospital. Nothing too graphic is shown, but some blood spews out of the child's foot
theres a scene where Lizzy cries really hard and I'm not sure if she was having an anxiety attack. juan has a nightmare and he cries, but again I'm not sure if it's an anxiety attack or if he was just crying
Seems like the teen daughter has PTSD from being in fostercare and her past experiences with fosters and what she’s been through. Not super explicit, but she is very protective of herself and siblings based on her past
Nothing too sexual, though an underage girl does try to send naked pictures to an adult, but is stopped by a parent. After taking the girls phone, she exclaims d**k pic!†Though nothing is shown.
