A mare that just had a foal gets taken by the army for war and soldiers put explosives on her so that she can kills the main character. She dies and become a ghoul flaming horse thanks to a possessed armour, helping the main character and killing the ones that put explosives on her. She gets killed again later put manage to kill her murderers as well. She reunites with her foal as she breathed her last breath. She helped a lot the main character.

The main character, Dororo is born a female and identifies as so, but because of the historical period, being a woman would probably mean getting raped and killed, her parents knew that and raised her as a boy for her own safety. Some fans think she is a trans boy though the actual producers clearly use the pronouns she/her.
