New Zealand's capital is a hotbed of supernatural activity... so Officers Minogue and O'Leary, who featured in the vampire documentary What We Do In The Shadows, take to the streets to investigate all manner of paranormal phenomena.
This tv show contains 11 potentially triggering events.
No, but there are similar occurrences I will list:
Episode 2 has "alien probing" described as "bad touch" but it's not shown or heard.
Season 2 episode 7 has a man photoscan his butt and send it to colleagues. He gets turned in to the police.
Season 3 episode one has an invisible naked man accidentally brush up against some colleagues. The invisibility later wears off and his colleague has a rough time with that
Season 3 episode 3 a woman comes in crying and I couldn't make out what she said but I think she said assult
First episode: girl starts to climb on wall in interrogation room ends her being too close to the camera. That was jump scary to me, and I'm sensitive to them. Thankfully, they only do that that once in that episode.
Episode 2 and 6, and season 2 episode 1. It's also slightly shown
In season 3 episode 1 they fight an invisible monster and overcompensate with the sound effects
The main characters are two members of the New Zealand Police Department. Although the cops in the show aren't shown as very useful, leaving many murders (13 specific murders mentioned in season 1 episode 5) completely unsolved. Even though the cops are shown to be rather dumb, it does still follow two police officers that are framed as the good guys.
A couple characters get tied to roofs or lifted by invisible beings, with vaguely similar enough imagery to be triggering, but they never put anything around necks or end in death
Lots and lots of taser violence and one nerf gun, but there are no actual guns in the show. One guy gets shot in between episodes and all that's shown is a cast
there are mentions of it having happened off-screen, and in season 2 episode 5 a ghost car goes off a cliff but uhhh... it's a ghost car, it's fine
In season 3 episode 4 they show the aftereffects of a crash. It's ghosts again, and the main plot point
Season 2 episode 7 is a christmas episode, in which there's a long discussion about Santa's making kids cry, and someone accidentally hires Satan instead of Santa
The very first episode starts with a very looooooong and extremely graphic vomit scene. If you watch, I recommend skipping to past the intro. Characters later talk about and describe the vomit in that episode.
Similar thing in Season 2 episode 4 and season 3 episode 4, but at different times.
Season 3 episode 5 has a whole different vomit issue
Season 3 episode 2 the characters misgender a bigfoot (and immediately correct themselves). And the leading lady gets called various forms of 'man' throughout the series, enough so that she relates to the bigfoot
Episodes 2 and 5, and season 2 episode 4, have A Lot of pixelated nudity, but it's not sexual.
In Episode 3 and season 2 episode 7 a guy nearly strips but doesn't (as opposed to season 2 episode 5, where a guy actually does and they keep talking about it)
Episode 4 has a few too many seconds of clothes-on sexual content
Season 2 episode 1 finishes off the episode by treating you to a very extended pixelated monster scene
Season 2 episode 5 has implied content right at the end
Episodes 3 and 5, and season 2 episode 1, and season 3 episode 3
In season 3 episode 1 they confuse tomato sauce for blood.
Season 3 episode 5 has people scratched up
