// minor spoilers // The mother is arguably emotionally abusive. She pressures her autistic non-verbal son to learn to talk when it is unclear if he wants this, pushes his only friend away because "he's not ready to have friends", and in a moment of anger shouts "just once can't you be normal" at him. However, she does apologize for the second two incidents. The father is a little neglectful at the start of the film but rectifies this at the end.

Oliver's parents are emotionally abusive/neglectful to him (see the trigger categories about autism and ableism). No physical domestic violence.

No, but Byron does pick on Oliver and encourage others to do the same after he is made to think by a third party that Oliver doesn't want to be friends with him anymore. They are friends again by the end of the film.

replying to the other commenter, i dont think that counts as gaslighting as gaslighting is done intentionally to convince the victim that they are wrong/overreacting, the therapist and husband offering different explanations to what they fully believe to be simply her brain playing tricks on her
likely should not be considered actual gaslighting, though if you have trouble with characters not being believed/being told theyre wrong/something else happened, even if it is done with good intentions then yea id say watch out for this

// spoilers // It's implied that Larry was created by people's loneliness from being addicted to technology. However, we don't meet any characters who are addicted (Oliver only really uses his device to communicate and self-soothe).

There is an ominous crunching sound that happens multiple times through the movie. As well as gurgling and chittering noises, but nothing “gory”. Just discomforting
