A Las Vegas team of forensic investigators are trained to solve criminal cases by scouring the crime scene, collecting irrefutable evidence and finding the missing pieces that solve the mystery.
S1E2, nothing shown on screen but there is a brief scene with an officer interviewing a girl who has been abused.

S7E6 has multiple scenes interviewing a convicted sex offender. One scene in particular just over halfway through has a very frank discussion about the "preferences" of many other offenders.
S9E6 has a particularly harrowing scene of a child being forcibly administered unnecessary experimental medication in a hospital bed against his will.

S6E15 has a brief autopsy scene towards the start with a hypodermic needle injecting an eye and a scene later of an empty eye socket.
S1E2, S2E3, both times off a building towards the start of the episode. S3E10 has someone falling off a building, but it's later established that he was already dead. S5E15 is about another man who falls to his death.
On all occasions flashbacks of the scene appear throughout the episode, typical of CSI episodes.
One of the main characters is casually dating someone through parts of Ss2&3. In S3E17 it is revealed that he has a partner. She breaks up with him at the end of the episode.
Throughout S4 another main character begins seeing someone who is revealed to be cheating on her in the closing scenes of S5E1.
S2E4: Bully For You - main character Sara Sidle is briefly shown showering to attempt to remove the smell of decomposition from her hair. The camera is framed from the shoulders up only.
S5E8 a lead detective is interrogating someone about a trans woman victim and says "If I found out the girl I was screwin was a guy, I'd be mad too." There are several other transphobic/controversial moments throughout the episode.
