PARENTS: if your child is sensitive, I personally recommend watching True Colours and Olivia and Yunan before your child watches.
The series starts off much less dramatic. :)
NOTE: no the dog doesn’t die, I just wanted to add this somewhere easy to see.

Aldrich was quite emotionally abusive towards his son Andrias, as he discouraged him from forming friendships, believing them to be nothing more than a distraction to his duties as a king, and that they simply were not meant to last.

I wouldn’t consider her to be an abuser or to have been abused, but sashas parents are divorced and it causes her to be a toxic friend to Anne.

In season 3, king Andrias is revealed to be a bad person because he was manipulated by his father

In "Olivia & Yunan," Marcy is forcibly restrained in a chair before and while being tortured. In both "If You Give a Frog a Cookie" and "Escape to Amphibia," the Plantars end up strapped to tables with the intention of being experimented on, though nothing ever happens. In "The Beginning of the End," Anne, Sasha, and the amphibians with them spend most of the ending of the episode restrained with prehensile cables. At the very beginning of "All In," the same characters are again being restrained by their hands and feet before they escape.

Anne's arm is broken pretty violently (but in no way gorily) by tax toads in "Toad Tax." The arm is not visibly broken and there is a cutaway the moment it happens, but she's seen clutching it in pain and later has it in a cast. Marcy also breaks her leg offscreen in her theme song takeover.

Though he is rescued, in the Season 2 finale, "True Colors", Sprig is dropped from a window by King Andrias with the intent of killing him.
EDIT: In the Season 3 episode "All In", during Anne's battle with Andrias, she falls multiple times while being knocked down or out of the sky. Several times she hits the ground or the top of a building and one time she flies through several buildings, and she expresses pain, however no injury is shown. It can still be startling or frightening.

Polly (with Anne and Sprig) was being abducted by numerous beasts in Amphibia, by some people too (i.e. the cannibals in A Night at the Inn who tried, even if they failed for Polly), and the Plantar kids are (with Hop Pop) abducted two times by humans, namely Dr. Frakes and Mr. X.

In the second segment of S3 E7, titled "Olivia & Yunan", a member of the main cast of characters, Marcy Wu, is possessed by an entity that is referred to as "The Core". She is unwillingly strapped to an electric-chair type contraption and The Core's conscience is downloaded into her brain through a helmet and multiple wires that are plugged into her limbs. She is also electrocuted in the process and screams in agony. This scene can be very upsetting for viewers, squeamish or not. EDIT: This possession remains a plotline until All In, where Sasha cuts the wire keeping the Core's helmet connected to Marcy. The result of this includes electricity and Darcy screaming, supposedly in pain, and can be just as disturbing as the initial possession in Olivia & Yunan. The Core takes control of the moon in the finale, however the moon isn't a sentient being, so it doesn't count as possession. The Core is also shown to be able to influence Andrias through his crown.

In "Escape to Amphibia," a character is threatened with a syringe and the needle is shown fairly detailed. In "Olivia & Yunan," a character is shown with tubes being pulled out of her arms similarly to IV lines, and later has more tubes inserted into her limbs that clearly have parts on the end that go in further than flush with her skin.

Marcy is confirmed autistic, even though she wasn’t intentionally written to be, and tbh I think it’s quite good representation of level 1 autism. She’s a bit stereotypical (loves puzzles, struggles to make friends, clever), but generally still quite accurate. Her storyline about being rejected for her interests and her struggling with change fit in well with many autistic people’s experiences.
she is a bit stereotypical and does make mistakes, but I would in no way say it’s misrepresented. If anything, I think it’s quite good representation. Not perfect, but good.

It’s not DID, but there’s a consciousness made up of amphibia’s “greatest minds” and it’s evil. It feels like it has similarities to DID, such as different ‘characters’, voices, using plural “we” (“we can’t decide” or something) and there’s mention that the character whose been kinda possessed by this consciousness is in “a little (box or room) up here”.
So short answer, no, DID isn’t in it, however, a character with some resemblances to DID and similar plural conditions, is evil which could be triggering or offensive to some people.
EDIT: when I say characters I mean different characters bc it’s a show, like different people, I know they’re called alters when it’s DID but this isn’t DID.

In "All In," the Plantars' trauma from the herons that killed Sprig and Polly's parents is explicitly discussed as such. It's possible that the main trio have PTSD as well, but this is at the most only slightly hinted at in the show, like Anne remembering the events of "Reunion" during "Handy Anne."

a bisexual character tries to kill herself, but fails. a character heavily implied to be sapphic does die but is brought back. you are led to believe a character widely believed to be sapphic is dead, but she turns out to be alive

Several jokes aimed towards Hop Pop, who is overweight, but not towards others, just him.

The existence of other worlds and a higher being are discussed towards the end. The deity you see for a bit takes the form of a computer then a cat

A statue of Santa Claus is turned into a killer robot during Season 3's Christmas episode by King Andrias in another plot to kill Anne. When the robot is destroyed, a child asks his father if Santa will be okay, to which the father replies that he won't with a smile.

The alternative to cars in this show is snails. A character who doesn't know how to drive drives off a cliff and lands in a forest. No damage to the characters or the snail.

It's a kids' cartoon, so it's extremely light on blood, let alone gore. A character gets a cut on her cheek, which is shown to be red, but without any running blood, in "Reunion." Same character gets a large cut on her back in "All In," but it's only shown for a few seconds, and not realistic at all. Possibly the goriest moment would actually be in "All In" when a character is revealed to be a cyborg after his body is partially torn open, revealing mechanical inner workings that greatly resemble organs, but even that's not much.

There's a large superweapon capable of creating massive explosions that annihilate huge areas and produces giant mushroom clouds. It's not ever stated to be nuclear, but could be interpreted as such.
