Debatable, while Saya appears as a child to Fuminori in reality she's anything but. Her child like features are described often and the game contained many sex scenes with her (one non consensual) so tread with caution if this sounds highly uncomfortable to you.

It is mentioned that cats have been hunted for food by a character and may continue to be, but it is not depicted visually or described in the same level of detail as the human-related violence.

Dubious - when Saya is shown through Fuminori's eyes, her resemblance is suggesting a child (petite, long hair, white dress). In reality (spoiler) Saya is an ageless eldritch abomination, which is not shown - most you can see of her true form is a few heavily-shaded tentacles. It is speculated that she is just a pile of bloody mass, however, because of the protagonist's warped senses we mostly see her as a childlike character.

Saya conducts an experimental neurosurgery on Fuminori's neighbor to make him perceive the world just like the protagonist does (to test if his condition is reversible and if yes, how to do so). In result, after waking up the neighbor's mind breaks and he goes insane, and as Saya was the only thing resembling previous normalcy, he forces himself on her.

Saya conducts an experimental neurosurgery on Fuminori's neighbor to make him perceive the world like the protagonist does, resulting in the neighbor going insane and he raping Saya. Later on, a side-character Yoh is mind-broken and turned into a "pet" and is forced to perform sexual acts to the protagonist.

Feels weird to call it "excessive", given that it's all story-related. If anything it seems like they didn't visually depict a lot of the worst of it? And the art style is not hyper-realistic. But it is a horror story in which gruesome stuff features prominently.

A character states that the police "...[don't] fight justice, or keep people safe." The police are treated throughout as at best a gamble of actual help, if not an outright danger to the innocent characters involved.

This should be especially emphasized, if the premise didn't tip you off there are many many graphic descriptions of gore, violence, body horror, and cannibalism. Stay far far away if you're squeamish.
