Many people's memories are magically altered throughout the show, and people's suspicions about magic are often dismissed and belittled by the sisters in order to steer people away from the truth. Evil beings (particularly Barbas) also sometimes give people magical hallucinations that distress them and make them question their sanity. S4Ep7 focuses on a bad guy keeping one of the sisters in an illusion of a mental hospital and trying to convince her that she imagined all of the events of the show. S4Ep14, Phoebe's fiancé is keeping a big secret from her, and she can tell something is going on and isn't sitting right with her, but when she asks him if he's hiding anything he says no, and he continues to keep his secret for multiple episodes. S4Ep16, Paige becomes magically overcome with paranoia, so Phoebe's fiancé messes with Paige by repeatedly and openly confirming her suspicions, then immediately removing the evidence and questioning her sanity for 'imagining things'; Paige is highly emotionally distressed from this.

It happens in multiple episodes per season and often several times in each episode it happens, so it is unfortunately very difficult to avoid. S1Ep19, two demons are burned to death with acidic potions after they appear in the storm drains. S1Ep20, a ghost is burned by acid after it's thrown on his headstone. S3Ep4, right after the sisters go through a portal, Leo burns two Grimlocks to death with acidic potions. There is minor blood and gore throughout the show, and is present during/after the frequent fight scenes of the show. Dismembered body parts and organs are sometimes handled onscreen. Additionally, S2Ep20, when a doctor is shown in a room with chimpanzees in cages, there is a prolonged scene where blood is shown up close in vials, syringes, and needles, and a large amount of blood splatters on the floor and wall; these vials and blood splatters are shown again when another doctor comes into the room and is frozen in the doorway, and again when the sisters decide to track down the doctor that keeps contacting Piper. S3Ep22, while Prue and Piper stand in the front hall, Prue snaps her fingers and there's a loud crack sound; right after that, there is a lot of blood for the remainder of the episode. S4Ep18, multiple demons drink blood on-screen throughout the episode.

S2Ep5, after Darryl rushes out of a car outside P3, he shoots and kills a monster who looks like a woman, who comes back to life. S2Ep7, Kyle shoots 2 monsters in his apartment after Piper and Phoebe find him. S2Ep9, in the opening scene, there's a shoot out and a woman dies; she is seen dead with gunshot wounds a few times throughout the episode.
