At least in the source material there is a large age gap between Mr. Knightly and Emma. In this movie, Mr. Knightly age is not specified but alluded to by comments like "you have always lived alone". Emma's age in the film is only 20. The actors however appear on screen close in age. I did not find it personally troublesome but worth mentioning.
