I just watched the movie no animal died. A very obvious CGI dog is thrown onto a roof of a car but immediately is ok

The dog does much of the abusing himself, gets his share in return, but is a tough boy and prevails

no. "dog fighting" is when people gamble on dogs fighting each other, it doesn't mean "fighting done by a dog" lol

a character has their neck put in a noose attached to a pulley, with someone cranking the rope higher and higher to strangle them slowly. they do not die, but they struggle for breath. another character has a knife stabbed into the top of their hand and is forced to either pull out the knife or pull out their hand. they choose the latter, and very slowly pull their hand through the blade of the knife, slicing through the skin between their middle and ring finger, while the knife stays stabbed into the table.

*SPOILERS* John wick is nearly hung however he does not die and this isn’t violent, he is just threatened with the noose

There is a partial hanging that doesn't kill John but does make it hard for him to breathe.

I believe they are referring to some of the fight scenes, where ankles and lower legs are sliced with swords/knives. I can’t recall any specific moments in particular and there are not any close ups as far as I’m aware.

Many scenes were people have their throats slit. One character has his hand impaled with a knife and has to cut it further, this is graphic.

There is a particularly gory scene where someone is forced to slice their hand open. Also, in typical John Wick style many people are killed by being smashed to the ground and so forth.

A rather large man falls onto his head and dies from it. There in accompanying audio of crunching bone. Numerous people are also shot/stabbed/axed/nunchucked to the head with gory results.

not really sure why there's so many votes for yes? body horror isn't the same thing as people getting injured.

At the hotel in Osaka, many people sacrifice themselves to try and keep assassins from finding John Wick. One is John's old friend, and he keeps fighting even while injured to buy time.

Right as the movie begins, there's a loud punch of a fist against a punching bag. A few people flinched at it, not so much a horror jumpscare though, just sudden

Not obviously, but arguably John has been suffering with PTSD since the first movie, which is why he keeps fighting, because he's running on pure instinct in a constant state of stress, trying desperately to cling to the memory of his wife.

Halfway through the movie John makes a pact with a woman and they both brand their forearms, the wounds are shown and he shows them again in one of the following scenes

The Ruska Roma, who John Wick joins during the film, are an actual group, a subgroup of the Romani travellers. The film depicts them as an incredibly powerful organised crime syndicate.

The actor for the large German character wears a fat suit. The character is almost cartoony in his proportions.
