During the Ingrid Bergman 'Notorious' sequence, she drugs Steve Martin's character and he acts "loopy" for a few scenes. He's drugged yet again later near the end of the film with "Kitty Collins" where he passes out.

The main character sexually assaults the love interest when she faints at the start and this becomes a recurring joke.

Multiple scenes of Steve Martin dressing up as a woman, played for laughs, with jokes about how he doesn't "look like a dame".
