Fallout is a RTÉ two-part fictional, doom laden, docu-drama. It deals with the nuclear fallout following a hypothetical disaster in the Sellafield Nuclear Reprocessing Plant in Cumbria on the British coast of the Irish Sea. The docu-drama suggests that, due to a changing wind direction, Ireland would bear the brunt of the British accident. The docu-drama was based on the false premise, that such an accident as depicted in the drama could happen and that parts of Ireland would need to be evacuated following a serious accident at Sellafield. Following the dramatized accident, the docu-drama depicts Irish evacuation riots, societal collapse and widespread health impacts.
This tv show contains 76 potentially triggering events.
at the start of episode two a newborn puppy gets thrown into an incinerator, a dog gets stabbed later in the same episode (the dog is resurrected at the end of the episode)
After having a consensual arranged marriage with another vault the main character is violently attacked and strangled while her husband kisses her face after it is revealed he and his group are raiders who broke in to the neighboring vault.
Technically someone was married in the same day the person tries to kill them but they fight back attack them and end up killing them so I say not really but you could maybe possibly see it that way
Main character is intentionally being mislead and lied to about facts regarding her entire childhood, and father's origins throughout most of her life, and was led to believe that many of her very real memories and understanding about the reality were just silly childish false beliefs.
There is discussion of experimentation on children, however it is never shown, also many of the vaults experiment on people and that probably includes children.
(Spoilers) Lucy has sex with Monty under the guise of him being a vault dweller but it’s revealed he was a raider with plans to murder her, which is dubious consent/rape
Lucy is coerced in to having sex with a raider who pretends to be there to be her new husband. He then beats her and kisses her face while strangling her.
Though technically not a dislocation, character's body parts are often ripped or cut off, including Cooper and Lucy's fingers. A character keeps a drawer full of amputated fingers.
The decapitated head mentioned in the other comment is shown on screen multiple times in varying states of decay. The actual act of decapitation is discussed, but not shown on screen.
In the episode where Lucy and Maximus are in Vault 4, there is a video of a woman giving birth to a cluster of carnivorous fish that subsequently eat her alive.
Around 15:30 the squire Thaddeus takes off his boot and I’m assuming that’s where the crushed foot appears but I closed my eyes. I’ve heard it is extremely grotesque and has bones shattered throughout his foot. It happens again at about 29 minutes when the weird guy claims he can fix his foot. It pops up again a few times within the next three minutes. At 31:40 it shows it in length as it “heals”. Very disturbing so I tried to not look as much as possible.
stimpacks (needles) are frequently used/seen throughout the show aswell as tranquilizer darts
episode 1: character quickly stabs herself in the stomach with a stimpack (24 min)
episode 2: a gun like stimpack is injected first into some dogs (they are unharmed) and then into a mans neck (3 - 4 min)
a man injects a dog with a stimpack (53 - 54 min)
episode 4: a character is quickly shot with a needle (barley seen on screen, intended to be comedic) (22 min)
a character squirts a liquid from a small needle into his mouth (40 min)
episode 6: a character is injected with a stimpack (11 min)
episode 8: a small robot tries to inject a character with a needle, this is intended to be comedic (15 - 17 min, shown again at 20min)
the start of episode 2 is set in a hospital like setting
episode 4 has scenes in an abandoned medical facility and makeshift hospital room
at the end of episode 5 they go to a abandoned hospital, no medical equipment is shown
In the first episode of season 1, a character’s foot is shredded by a razor blade in what appears to be an attack on them. In the season finale, it is revealed that the character did it to themself in order to get out of going on a mission assigned to them.
The world was plunged into chaos and anarchy after The Great War. There are few governing bodies left in the world, and people often kill and steal freely.
Technically no, but becoming a feral ghoul has very similar thing going on, and its displayed in several episodes. Essentially the individual will gradually lose their cognitive capabilities, memories and sense of self, and towards the end they try to repeat their own names to delay the inevitable complete loss of self.
I suppose a ghoul’s radiation poisoning could be compared to a terminal illness; it’s definitely framed this way as a character will do almost anything to get medical treatment to keep it from progressing
