Dash is found dead by Victoria towards the end of Season 2 Episode 3. Earlier in the episode (possibly the episode before, I can't quite remember) he is described as having a dry nose and not wanting to play as much. Dash's body is shown on screen, but it is clearly Dash's actor doing a really good job of lying still. Victoria is understandably very upset and cries over his body. He was old and died of natural causes.
Lord Melbourne is implied to have experienced a stroke in Season 2. He experienced left side weakness, his mouth drops on the left, and is shown to stammer or occasionally slur his words.
S3Ep6, a young boy doesn't take good care of his pet mouse: it's carried around in a tiny closed pouch in one scene; he forgets it in the middle of a field in another scene; he doesn't appear to have a cage for it, as it runs off offscreen and is never found.
One of the major characters of Season 3 cheats on her husband, as they don't love each other. Another major married character sleeps with several women throughout Season 3, though it's revealed in S3Ep5 that he has a consensual open marriage, so he's not actually cheating.
S3Ep7, there are no mental institution scenes, but when Sophia comes home to see her son, two doctors grab her and take her offscreen because the husband says she is insane. S3Ep8, there are a few scenes of Sophia inside a locked room, and there are discussions of other sick patients, though it appears that she is actually in a hospital, as the husband visits and threatens to send her to an asylum.
