Super-Hero partners Scott Lang and Hope van Dyne, along with with Hope's parents Janet van Dyne and Hank Pym, and Scott's daughter Cassie Lang, find themselves exploring the Quantum Realm, interacting with strange new creatures and embarking on an adventure that will push them beyond the limits of what they thought possible.
This movie contains 22 potentially triggering events.
Cassie recalls that her dad, Scott has missed many of her birthdays because he was in jail. Janet recalls that she left her daughter at home one day and told her that she would be back soon even though she knew she would be stuck in the quantum realm for many years. Both Scott and Janet came back to their daughters and made it up to them
A drink is served with a small live octopus type creature who seems afraid of being eaten, and is subsequently eaten by Bill Murray. So at the table with Bill Murray beware.

There’s a whole lot of big ants near the end of the movie that are bigger than all the humans so it can be quite icky to see them so big and detailed if you have a fear of ants etc.
Scott and Cassie are temporarily restrained by a force-like power from Kang. One of the minor characters/rebels becomes handcuffed when captured and also becomes restrained with an electrified lasso/rope.
Kang uses Force-like powers (as in similar to Star Wars) to torture Scott and especially Cassie. Nothing visually gruesome or violent, but it could be hard to watch/hear them in pain.
*small spoilers* No excessive gore, but in one of the final scenes (Scott stays behind to fight Kang) it gets pretty bloody for a marvel movie, with Scott having a bloody and bruised face and bleeding from his mouth
Kang threatens a few times to kill Scott's daughter (who is a teenager now) but she is okay and unharmed. She also recalls a scene from the first movie where "a man dressed as a bee tried to kill me in my room when i was six" but its used as humor and she was also alright in the first movie
No explicit cheating. However, When Janet and Hank are in the quantum realm, Janet recounts that she had ''needs'' when she was lost in the realm. Hank then shares that he had someone else for a while too but it didn't last because they weren't ''as good as Janet.''
Small spoilers: I’d say MOSTLY vomit safe, but there’s a part near the end of the movie where Darren is severely injured and spits out a bunch of goop. Not exactly vomit, but it definitely could be triggering or distressing for some people with emetophobia etc ♡
It can be said that from her PTSD from her time in the Quantum Realm, Janet acts out by pulling wires from the quantum device and beats up bad guys and stabs an alien like creature.
Cassie begins to breathe heavily and becomes nervous when she and Scott are in the Quantum Realm, but Scott helps her calm down. Janet also seems to be very nervous at some points but doesnt have an anxiety attack
A woman who is living in the Quantum Realm with other aliens/creatures says Kang destroyed their homes and now they are refugees. Cassie also mentions that police cleared out a homeless area but this happens off screen.
*Big spoilers ahead!* For the Lang/Van Dyne family, the ending is happy as they're all safe and well. But for the overall Multiverse, the ending was more ambiguous. Scott felt something was off and became anxious when he went to buy donuts.
