A zombie when they hold her in a chokehold. Last 30 minutes of the movie. About 10 minutes before that, a man is grabbed through a glass wall and is choked and bitten.
At the very end. It's a bit of a spoiler. (Idk how to spoil tag on mobile, so SPOILER BELOW!) - - - The zombie at the end has non-human characteristics, but is still human-ish. She's very thin, malnourished looking, and her limbs are very long. Her face is also very monster-esque, it's long and disfigured.
Towards the end of the film, there are scattered photos which include pictures of damaged teeth- however, they're fairly low quality and easy to look away from.
The most major one being in the last 5 or so minutes (not including 5 minutes of credits) when Pablo uses the camera to look into the attic. There is an infected boy that attacks the camera and it makes a loud screech.
In the last 10 minutes, a woman is said to be possessed and it's unclear if it's real possession or if she's a special kind of zombie. We see her attack the last survivors in these last 10 minutes. Her body is morphed in an inhuman way and it can be quite jarring as there is no indication there would be possession in this zombie movie.
In the last 5 minutes (not including 5 minutes of credits) an almost naked woman appears wearing nothing but underwear. Her underwear is dirty, but I wouldn't say she wet/soiled herself.
Once things start kicking off 30 minutes in and the characters realize they can't leave, everyone in the movie is constantly freaking out until the credits roll. There are very few lulls in the movie. The closest to an anxiety attack is roughly in the last 30 minutes where they leave a handcuffed woman behind and the main characters starts crying.
The plot surrounds the characters being trapped in a small apartment building. No one gets stuck in a space smaller than a room, but they are very much trapped.
The infection is blamed on the Asian family in the group when they are innocent. One particular man, during an interview after two people have been bitten, says he doesn't know if they're Chinese or Japanese "or whatever" and that it's their fault for eating raw and smelly food. Similar to when people blame the Chinese for covid. Can be very upsetting to hear.
Nothing sexual happens in the movie. Sometimes you see women's underwear because they're wearing skirts while infected. This isn't done in a sexual way. A woman's breasts are seen in the last 5 minutes (not including 5 minutes of credits) but she is more monster than human. Not sexual.
