School girl Annabel is hassled by her mother, and Mrs. Andrews is annoyed with her daughter, Annabel. They both think that the other has an easy life. On a normal Friday morning, both complain about each other and wish they could have the easy life of their daughter/mother for just one day and their wishes come true as a bit of magic puts Annabel in Mrs. Andrews' body and vice versa. They both have a Freaky Friday.
No but the mother and daughter switch bodies, so the father still thinks he is talking to his wife when actually speaking to his daughter. Therefore, there are some suggestive comments, but this is a kids movie, and nothing more than that happens.
There are several times where the main characters are anxious and “break down” if you will, but this is caused by their situation solely, not a disorder.
There are a few times where people are called “crazy,” “stupid” and someone asks whether “there’s something wrong with her noggin.” None of the people are actually disabled
Heavily implied that the husband is having an affair with the secretary. It is the subject of a seen, and the wife (in the body of the daughter) is very hurt.
Most of not all of the shame is put on the young secretary rather than the older man, who is her boss.
