A man hits his girlfriend in a night club and she punches his lights out in response. This turns out to be the introduction of one of the main characters. ALSO, in the movie inside the movie, there is a scene where a woman is shot for sleeping with Dolemite.

In dialogue, briefly, a woman talks about having sex with her abusive ex when she didn't want sex and didn't enjoy it. It isn't shown onscreen, and the focus is on how she saw the funny side of it, but could still be triggering.

The main character has several scenes where he is very stressed, but it isn't a panic attack.

A few people make fun of Rudy Ray Moore's "belly" and cite his weight as a reason that he can't be a star. He's self-conscious about his weight but ultimately embraces using it for comedic effect in the film he's making. Overall the film comes across as having a body-positive message, including a touching moment from Lady Reed who talks about the importance of representation for women with her body type.

Nobody dies in the main storyline of the movie. In the movie-within-the-movie there are some staged deaths (white guys die first)

Slurs for women and sex workers are used (b*tches, h*s, etc). There are also many uses of the N-word, but I'm pretty sure it's only said by black characters in a context that's not intended as hate speech. There's one occasion where a character alludes to being gay and Moore tells him to shut up about that because they're at a family-friendly event.

There are a lot of topless women in a 70's exploitive manner (an accurate depiction of the album cover and movie the film is documenting). I would say that the original material was misogynistic, but that this movie is more documentary about it. Also, there is technically a sex scene that is shot in the movie inside of the movie, but it is very comedic (the furniture and wall art are all on strings and jumping around, etc), so it's not what you typically think of as a sex scene.

The ending is happy, and if you're looking for a fun and low-stress movie in general, this may be a good choice. [SPOILERS] The main character struggles in the beginning, but mostly experiences success throughout the rest of the movie; there's no sad downfall and any setbacks don't last for long.

Sort of. It's a movie inside of a movie, so there are no "real life" implications, but the imagery is present.

As the other comment said, there's lots of gun violence in the movie-within-the-movie. We know it's fake the whole time, and nobody gets hurt, but you do hear a lot of gunshots and see gunshot wounds.
