Mobile Suit Gundam 00
TV Show • 2007 • Animation
ReportThe year is 2307 A.D. Although fossil fuels have been depleted, humanity has obtained a new source of energy to replace them, in the form of a large-scale solar power generation system based on three huge orbital elevators. However, the benefits of this system are available only to a handful of major powers and their allies. In this world of never-ending conflict, a private armed organization appears, dedicated to the elimination of war through armed force. Its name is Celestial Being, and it is in possession of "Gundam" mobile suits.

One of the first shots in the show has a broken doll. This shot is flashed back to multiple times and features in the show's first opening.

Multiple (mostly because this is a show about war, so most characters engage in violence). Most notable instance is the evil alter trope, as explained under D.I.D. misrepresentation.

A main character (Allelujah) has a violent and murderous "alternate personality". His motivation is ultimately to protect himself/Allelujah and is more complex than "murder is fun", but that idea is still the basis of the character. (There is another character with a "second personality" who is portrayed more realistically and more respectfully, but the portrayal still isn't entirely accurate to the reality of DID.)

It isn't joked about, but a male-presenting character crossdresses as a disguise in order to infiltrate a party.
