As I stated elsewhere on the page, RIP Mudwell from "Gone, But Not Forgotten". He does not look much at all like a rabbit, but is canonically a "mudbunny" notheless.

While there is no explicit abuse unlike the the Pa and Junior relations in the reboot (in the original Pa still calls Junior stupid a lot, but deep down he does truly love him, and it's for "dysfunctional family" comedy and not drama like Back to the Rock plays it - still, keep in mind that in "The Garden Plot" Pa Gorg sings an entire song about how much he hates his stupid son that, while very, VERY darkly comedic, was intense enough to get pulled from later prints of one of the albums in the 80s) Uncle Matt's Uncle Gobo from his youth (seen via flashbacks in "Born To Wander" and a few scenes in "The Riddle of Rhyming Rock") is constantly yelling at Matt, even calling him a demon sometimes. As Uncle Gobo was Matt's father figure, this makes his scenes very uncomfortable and veeeeeery close to verbal abuse.

It is still worth noting that in "A Cave Of One's Own", Red reads a book where a dragon is getting violently slain out loud.

One of the cave creatures is a black fuzzy ball that moves in a very daddy long legs-like fashion. In "Scared Silly" Wembley puts fake spiders on Boober's bed, but he isn't at all affected because he finds the scare very predictable.

Though it is worth noting that once the love potion takes effect in "We Love You Wembley" and everyone in Fraggle Rock falls in love with him, they get very... touchy-feely, to Wembley's distress.

His head is not squashed, but In "We Love You Wembley" Wembley loses balance while holding a large rock and falls, being crushed down by the rock in the process (not at all graphic). Another fraggle helps him and he is okay.

In the episode "New Trash Heap in Town" Gobo's leg is broken by a Gorg (offscreen), he is in visible pain and is seen bedridden and on crutches during the span of the episode. While not a broken bone, in "Blanket of Snow, Blanket of Woe" Red twists her ankle ice skating, her leg is bandaged, she also in very visible pain.

Famously, in "Gone, But Not Forgotten", Mudwell the Mudbunny dies. There is not a single dry eye in the house for that one, so heads up before watching. While relayed to us through a silly song and nowhere near as sad, it is heavily implied that Sir Blunderbrain (a Fraggle) died in the Terrible Tunnel from the episode of the same name. The show does get dangerously close to killing off all of Fragglekind at times, notably in "The Day The Music Died", "The Bells of Fraggle Rock", and (probably the most depressing case of this, as another heads up) "The River of Life", but they live. "Marooned" discusses death enough to feel like a 20 minute version of the incinerator scene from Toy Story 3, but fortunately, Red and Boober are rescued.

In "Wembley and the Mean Genie", the genie possesses everyone in Fraggle Rock except Wembley to be his... totalitarian army? Rock concert audience? Both at the same time? I don't know. It looks like a Pink Floyd video lol.

Boober/Sidebottom, if unintentionally due to it being sort of a metaphor for many different things, is actually handled quite well. (Disclaimer: I'm a singlet and this is based on what little I know about DID. I have seen multiple DID systems in the fandom praise them for what it's worth.)

While reoccurring minor character Large Marvin is characterized as being highly unintelligent, for the most part that is all that jokes about him are about and he is also shown to be a skilled swimmer and respected as such. The exception is a joke in "The Trial of Cotterpin Doozer" where, when Marvin tries to go into the Doozer courtroom and gets stuck, Feenie comments that he might be too fat. Marvin agrees, and then, rather stereotypically, proceeds to beg Feenie to feed him crackers. There is also, near the beginning of "The Garden Plot", a scene that isn't a joke but just plainly a fat shaming scene where Red angrily calls Gobo fat and says he should be put on a diet, which she doesn't apologize for and it isn't even mentioned again, with no impact on the plot afterwards.

See "is there hate speech". Clearly unintentional, and the show's messages against racism and for peace still ring true, but the depiction of The Old G**** Lady in "Boober's Quiet Day" is quite cringeworthy by today's standards.

This is a show that is incredibly against racism, promotes world peace, and as a whole has aged really well, but it should be noted that being of its time a character in "Boober's Quiet Day" is exclusively referred to as "the old g**** lady". I am certain that this was the writing team simply being unaware of how the Romani people feel about that word, as it is unfortunately still used to this day by many.
