Robotomy
TV Show • 2010
ReportRobotomy is an American animated television series created by Michael Buckley and Joe Deasy, directed by Christy Karacas, voice directed by Michael Sinterniklaas, and produced by World Leaders Entertainment and Cartoon Network Studios. The series was developed after a long series of unaccepted ideas, and occasionally put in and out of production due to changing executives. It was officially announced on August 31, 2009, and premiered on October 25, 2010, on Cartoon Network. Robotomy was canceled on January 24, 2011. It is Cartoon Network's shortest-running original series, as well as with the least number of episodes. Robotomy was officially removed from Cartoon Network's website on February 11, 2011.
On January 11, 2013, the series returned to television in reruns, albeit in a minor role. Episodes of the series could be seen from time to time on the revived Cartoon Planet block.

All characters are robots or otherwise nonhuman, so naturally all deaths contain no actual blood or organs, and instead gasoline and wires respectively.

Nothing outright explicit, but the show is rife with sexual innuendos and similar content, ex. jokes about masturbation; one character who briefly appears as a joke is heavily implied to be a hooker; characters refer to each other as sexy; characters being attracted to each other, etc.

Not necessarily as no one in the series is confirmed to be autistic, however do note that the episode "No Child Left Benign" borders on this with the big reveal towards the end of the episode. See "Is there ableist language and/or behavior?" for specifics.

Words like "psych0" are casually thrown around in the show. The protagonists talk about a group of students that is very clearly a special education class in a negative light (and, at the very least, pity them) in "No Child Left Benign", and the class is purely built for the disposal of said students, who all have "faulty psych0 chips". Not helping is that one of the students in the class, Weenus (who is also a recurring character), is clearly neurodivergent-coded and arguably a stereotypical portrayal of people with Tourette's syndrome, and gets treated poorly by his peers.

Arguable; a robot's anus is briefly seen during a transformation sequence, though the robot in question is less anthropomorphized than everyone else, and all the robots themselves are technically naked.

A teenage robot lies about his age to get with a robot who is clearly years older than him. Thankfully the relationship doesn't last very long and the older robot turns out to be uninterested in him, though the older robot does say some questionable things towards the teenage one.

Robot characters regularly get destroyed on-screen, though they are rebuilt afterwards (unless they're of old age).

It is revealed towards the end of the episode that, after it became known two characters were exes, it's explained in a conversation that the reason for their breakup was because one character cheated on his partner with another character. Nothing is seen, and nothing is described in further detail beyond that. Timestamp: 7:59-8:10.

A tonic that plays a part in the episode's plot is pretty much the robotic equivalent to steroids, and characters are seen using the tonic.
