This tv show contains 56 potentially triggering events.
Let me start by saying that he lives before going in to details.
Season 1 episode 5.. Django has been poisoned. He is picked up and rushed to the the vet and briefly dropped and whines for a few seconds while going down the stairs to rush him there, but he is fine. He goes to the vet and he recovers!! But it is still a little sad to see his drool on the floor and laying basically lifeless for a few seconds.. chills but at least he is okay and he LIVES!
You see that he is alive and well precisely @ 40:49 of season 1:5
1:6 @ 7:36 you may think that jimmy is going to do something to Django but he actually pets him (surprisingly) and takes a Polaroid of him. He does nothing to him. He even eats a grape from the fridge and it makes it seem and he’s going to give him a grape (which could be poisonous to dogs).
mentions weed, H, drug wrap too. you see what looks like cocaine, someone put a patch on someones hand (dunno if its drug or not but they did mention drugs beforehand)
S01E05: 9 minutes, Django, the dog didn't get his meds and the protagonist accidentally drops him when hurrying to the vet. He is out of surgery OK though and reappears later in the episode.
His tail is always hidden which probably means he was wagging it while they were shooting this scene. 🐕 🐶
It’s not statutory rape, as the law in Louisiana has the age of consent set at 17. However, it is arguably morally wrong, and still does violate LA’s statues against teachers committing lewd or lascivious acts on a student between the ages of 17 and 21.
the car crash, which is the inciting incident of the show, is incredibly gory and graphic. the victim (a 17yo) is shown lying in the road in a lot of blood with his leg bent at an unnatural angle. for about five minutes, he struggles to breathe, spits up a mouthful of blood, and then dies.
Season 1 episode 2 - approximately 38 minutes in. Someone is having a panic attack and suddenly there is an intense flashback. It definitely feels like a jump scare.
The accident that starts the sequence of events we follow is very graphic, with close up scenes of the accident victim. If you want to avoid gore, it’s going to be difficult because this scene is shown in most of the flashbacks at the start of each episode.
