Mobsters (specifically young Al Capone and his gang) are carrying firearms appropriate to their time period of origin during the film. They take part in a battle, and may fire their weapons at some point (I don’t remember) but do not kill anyone with them. They do threaten people (and also a monkey) with them, though.
