although not blatant abuse, mina leaves josh’s dog reggie outside while he’s away and when he returns to the house, reggie is no longer tied up in the yard.
Maybe - someone tumbles down the stairs then looks worriedly at ankle and strongly favors other ankle while running away - no audible sound or other signal that bone broke however
Everything seems to indicate that a person has fallen to their death toward the end of the movie, but strictly speaking, we don't know for sure. Earlier in the movie, the body of an already person man is thrown from the top of a cliff, and we see the body lying on the rocks a ways down.
if you like thrillers but are sensitive to gore i think this movie should be pretty safe for you. there are only two on screen deaths and we briefly see the aftermath of one death. one scene does show bloody head trauma but is brief. there is one scene of a violent beating but there is minimal blood. i think this film generally does a good job of having scary content without showing much of it on screen, for very long, or up close and personal.
The four main characters aren't parents, and we don't know any of the few other characters to be, either. No parents are mentioned, and there are no children in the movie.
Regular structural holes of a shower-head are shown a few times to emphasize the fact that, spoiler — there is a camera in one of the holes. There’s also a shot, before the camera reveal, of a vent above one of the main character’s head while sleeping. There are also normal structural holes on this vent. Other than that, there are no abnormal/different sized holes in fabric, holes in any places they shouldn’t be, etc. As someone with pretty bad trypophobia, this movie didn’t trigger me.
I’m emetophobic and this movie was safe for me. Someone, won’t say who, dies and othercharacters are visibly upset, crouching and coughing at times when dealing with the body but at no point did it seem anyone was going to v****
The guy renting the place to them could arguably have some form of mental illness, he acts very strange and — spoiler — has hidden cams in the airbnb. But this is all speculation. He’s never confirmed to have any specific mental disorder.
There's an ill-lit, stuffy, cellar-type room (partially below ground level) that you enter through an opening that's much smaller than a regular door. Two people spend a few minutes there, looking for something. I didn't like it.
Everything seems to indicate that a person has gone over the edge of a cliff toward the end of the movie, but strictly speaking, we don't know for sure. If the person did fall and did land in the water at the bottom of the cliff, there's little to no chance that the impact was non-fatal.
one of the characters repeatedly gets punched in the face by another. the antagonist beats two characters with a hammer and cracks the other in the back of the head.
