Just watched the premiere and can confirm: no animals are hurt or killed in the film. They however will scare you and make you worry about the safety of the kitty a lot, but Frodo the kitty remains alive and unscathed
The “yes” votes could be trolling but the cat is handled slightly roughly, however only to ensure their survival. There’s a disclaimer at the end that no animals were harmed, so I assume the cat was fine with this irl.
Technically, no. She was terminally ill and on Fentanyl transdermal patches for her substantial pain. Her friend assisted her with replacing her patch.
In the beginning where there’s smoke everywhere, whenever someone says something or makes any noise expect a monster to come flying at them
There’s a scene where after the two main characters fall asleep in the main characters apartment, when Lupita wakes up she has like a nightmare and a monster shows up out of nowhere
There’s a moment where Samira is lying down after they get to the church and she leans over and starts gagging. I looked away so I don’t know if there is visual, but definitely some gagging audio at least.
Beginning of the movie starts in a hospice, where there are multiple cancer patients staying, but once they leave to go to the city, you don’t see another hospital again
The main character has cancer, she sacrificed herself at the end because she knew she was going to die, it’s nothing graphic the very ending just implies that she’s about to die, but she’s at peace with it
Man was killed as he started freaking out about everyone dying. Though he was killed, it was an act of self-defense because he would not be quiet even knowing the ramifications.
The scene is quite claustrophobic where someone is stuck under a car but they manage to get out and it doesn’t last very long (literally about 4 seconds)
It’s clear that she has a terminal illness from the start but the protagonist dies last. Her father is the only character who is known to have died before the events of the film, so technically a Black person died first, but he’s never shown outside of a photograph.
