[[Spoilers]]
Not sure if it counts as gaslighting, but Rachel's fiancé is revealed to be an undercover agent who used their wedding as a set-up to capture Sonic. Rachel has a brief freak-out where she questions her reality, although it's played as a joke and said fiancé reveals he actually does love her.
Sonic and Tails, who are aged 13 and 8 respectively, with the former being somewhat immature for his age due to stunted social development and naivety, are repeatedly beaten up by Knuckles, G.U.N., Dr. Robotnik and his various robots. Tails is knocked unconscious by Dr. Robotnik for a lengthy period of time, while Sonic is briefly rendered unconscious three times, once via tazer net and twice more via drowning, though all of Sonic's unconscious periods are much shorter than the three times he was rendered unconscious in the first film. By the end of the movie Sonic is near death, huddling with his parents and accepting his fate, only being saved by the Chaos Emeralds.
there is a scene where Sonic and Tails go to a tavern and a butcher chops the head of a dead fish off, the head rolls over and speaks as well. There is also a tongue stew shown a little later in the same setting
Sonic is rendered unconscious via tazer net and then locked into a cage alongside the already knocked out Tails being locked in a separate cage. When Sonic's father Tom attempts to rescue his son he gets restrained by multiple G.U.N. officers.
Robotnik shaved his hair off during a post credit scene in the first movie, but he's already sporting his more game accurate look by the time this film starts.
Yes, during one of the Siberia scenes, Tails gets hit with one of Dr. Robotnik's missiles and topples down a mountain. After that, Tails becomes unconscious for some of the movie.
**Warning Spoilers Ahead!**
- It is a running theme within the movie that Knuckles has a very firm grip when shaking hands with others. He often overpowers them and the recipient vocalizes that they were hurt but they are always fine in the following scenes. You hear some crunch noise but it's done within a few seconds. When Eggman shakes hands with Knuckles, he does say he might have broken something in his hand area so pushes it back into place. We don't see dislocation but there is that crunch noise and Eggman shouts.
Not sure if it counts, but an animatronic figure that Sonic creates as a stand-in for himself falls apart. Also a TV gets destroyed during Sonic and Knuckles' first meeting.
No, but power goes out and the TV turns on with static. "Poltergeist" is said, a ghostly image of a long-disceased person is just a holographic recording, but no ghosts.

Emetophobe here. This movie is safe, no *v. But there is spitting and a mention of *v.
1) In the beginning of the movie, Eggman is trying to invent ''mushroom coffee'' and there is a montage of several clips of him spitting the liquid out then giving up. No *g here.
2) At the climax of the movie, Knuckles and Sonic have a serious conversation and Eggman listens on. Eggman then says he ''*tu in his mouth.'' This too has no noises or visual, just the quote.

No, however near the end Sonic and his parents seem to accept their inevitable deaths as they hold hands and wait to be crushed to death by the boot of Robotnik’s giant robot. Sonic manages to use the chaos emeralds to save them at the last moment, however
While it isn’t confirmed or very explicitly shown, Sonic and Knuckles both go through traumatic events at a young age and Knuckles especially suffers from this trauma to this day
No but [SPOILERS] after he jumps in the way to prevent his fiancé from getting tased he asks her “how bad is it” and then says “it’s so cold”. The scene is played off in a joking manner where his fiancé assures the audience that he is fine.
**Warning Spoilers Ahead!** --There is no *d by drowning overall but maybe some triggering scenes for some. In the later part of the movie scenes take place on the sea itself.--
