If it weren't for the fact that the term "gaslighting" was coined from a movie about gaslighting called "Gaslight", haha, I might dub this one "Gaslighting: The Movie". The entire population are told one thing one day and the exact opposite the next, and it's soon reversed again, and again, and again. And they're all expected to repeat the new false information to everybody else. If anyone dares to protest or even question the information, they're eliminated or brainwashed through torture. It's unclear how much of the population have been so thoroughly conditioned that they TRULY switch their beliefs when they're told to, and how many of them just pretend out of fear, but in any case what the government is doing is gaslighting.

In the first 20mins, two people are shown to have straps tied around their necks and then bags pulled over their heads.
30mins in there are several hangings shown
Hanging is also mentioned a lot.

Horribly so, most prominently with electric shocks and a sick contraption involving rats (although the rats never get to the point where they harm the person, the fear caused by the imminent threat of them doing so is psychological torture).

I don't think we see any, but a character is told that the bed he's renting to use with his lover is full of them.

Not in the sense of self harm but razor blades are shown.

In a sense. The entire society is brainwashed into believing the Party’s lies

This is the entire premise of the plot. People are watched through telescreens and there’s an assumption that anyone could inform the Thought Police of crimes
